If British places were pronounced in German

If you are a frequent reader of my blog posts you might remember my German pronunciation posts How to pronounce the vowels in German, How to pronounce German words with ‘ei’ and ‘ie’ or Test your German pronunciation with some dinosaurs

Today I came across a video I made a while ago, which was fun to make and is hopefully fun for you to listen to. It’s about British places which I pronounced as if they were German places.

So, how good is your German pronunciation? Can you work out which places I was talking about? If yes, fantastic. And if you’re not sure, don’t worry, the answers are also in the video.

How did you get on?

Can you think of any other places that would sound really strange if we pronounced them in German?
