German sentences for Golf players

Welcome to my first blog post based on our season 6 ‘Ask Angelika’ shows with practical or useful sentences you might hear or use yourself in certain scenarios.

Today we’re covering sentences you might hear or need when playing a game of golf in Germany.

Let’s start with one easy phrase (not in the video):

Was ist deine Lieblingsübung im Putting?
What’s your favourite putting exercise?

Wie hoch sind die Greenfee-Gebühren?
How much are the green fees?”

Können Sie mir ein Golfcart reservieren?
Can you reserve a golf buggy for me?

Ist Wasser auf diesem Loch?
Is there water on this hole?

Ich habe meinen Ball im Rough verloren.
I lost my ball in the rough.

Kann ich hier ein paar Bälle auf der Driving Range schlagen?
Can I hit a few balls at the driving range here?

Wie viele Schläge sind auf diesem Loch Par?
What  par is this hole?

Das war ein Hole-in-One!
That was a hole-in-one!

Ich bin am 19. Loch. 😉
I am at the 19th hole.

What can you do with these sentences to remember them?
