Today we will cover sentences you might hear in Germany during the olympics.

Archers shoot arrows at targets.

Leichtathletik umfasst Lauf-, Sprung- und Wurfdisziplinen.
Athletics includes running, jumping, and throwing events.
Badminton wird mit einem Federball und Schlägern gespielt.
Badminton is played with a shuttlecock and rackets.

Boxer kämpfen in einem Ring gegeneinander.
Boxers compete against each other in a ring.

Feldhockey wird von zwei Teams auf einem Rasenplatz gespielt.
Field hockey is played by two teams on a grass field.
Turner führen Übungen an Geräten und am Boden aus.
Gymnasts perform routines on apparatus and the floor.

Moderner Fünfkampf umfasst fünf verschiedene Disziplinen.
Modern pentathlon includes five different events.
Segler navigieren Boote durch einen Wasserparcours.
Sailors navigate boats through a water course.
Schützen zielen mit Gewehren oder Pistolen auf Ziele.
Shooters aim at targets with rifles or pistols.
Skateboarder führen Tricks auf Brettern aus.
Skateboarders perform tricks on boards.

What can you do with these sentences to remember them?
