I went to London today to attend the annual Language Show and it was a great success again. It’s good to see what new resources are available and what the new trends are. It’s also lovely to pick up some freebies and meet people I otherwise only ‘meet’ online.
One other reason for my visit is the variety of workshops/seminars.
My favourite this time was Russel Stannard’s seminar about 10 great Web 2.0 tools for language teachers, and amongst others he spoke about this useful vocabulary website Language Guide It’s a great site for learning vocabulary with lots of pictures and you can listen to the pronunciation.
Give it a go, it’s great fun!
