The composer Georg Friedrich Händel was born on the 23rd February 1685 in Halle, Germany. He died on the 14th April 1759 in London, England.
You probably know him as George Frederick Handel. Although he was born in Germany, he became a British national after he moved to London and slightly changed his name.
