A few months ago fellow language blogger, Lindsay Dow of Lindsay does Languages, had this wonderful idea of creating an international Christmas song. She spoke about it in a Facebook group and the following video is the result!
She decided on the Muppets’ ‘It feels like Christmas’ and a group of language enthusiasts, including me, translated individual lines into various languages and made them fit to the tune, or used lines from foreign versions that already existed. Then everybody sang their lines in their own homes and sent them to Lindsay, who then put it all together. Thank you ever so much for doing this, Lindsay!
